I recently read an article that is just too good not to share it with you. It is from Bert Fulks who is a Christian with years of experience in student ministry.
The article explains an effective and creative way to give you children a way out when they get into a troublesome situation. This method is very effective in helping your kids escape quickly before things get out of hand, when they find themselves in a place, doing something they know is wrong. It allows them to “save face” with their friends, to escape, and to not have any repercussions with their parents.
I encourage you to read this article, and then introduce and start using the X-Plan with your children. It will increase the trust between your family members, and could even save your child’s life.
